Continuity Comicworks exists because making readable, consistent comics shouldn't require a drawing team, an expensive design suite, or weeks of manual assembly. We built the tool we wished existed.
Our Story
Comic creation has always lived at the intersection of writing and visual art. The script carries the story — the beats, the pacing, the dialogue — but turning that script into a finished, readable comic has traditionally required illustrators, layout artists, and letterers working in sync.
AI image generation changed the equation, but it introduced new problems. Characters shift appearance between panels. Layouts require manual assembly. Speech bubbles land on top of faces. Exporting a vertical scroll for TikTok means rebuilding the entire layout by hand. The promise of fast comics crashed into the reality of inconsistent, unreadable output.
Continuity Comicworks was built to solve exactly this gap. We started with the hardest problem — character continuity — and built outward: a layout engine that understands panels, gutters, and reading flow; a dialogue system with proper bubble placement and tail direction; scoped regeneration so you fix only what needs fixing; and format-aware exports that treat outputs as deliverables, not afterthoughts.
The result is a script-to-comic pipeline where the AI handles generation and the creator stays in control of the story, the look, and the final product.
